In 2008, two visionary engineering students at Ecole Centrale Paris, Jérôme Mouterde and Laetitia Brottier, designed an innovative hybrid solar technology. In 2010, the formidable duo created Solaire 2G to bring the DualSun panel from the laboratory to the market.
The DualSun team, now based in Marseille where the sun reigns, is composed of young and dynamic engineers and designers, all with a passion for solar energy and devoted to deliver the best hybrid solar solution for a transitioning energy world. Come meet us in our Marseille office to exchange ideas about the technology, visit our pilot installation, and why not, join us for our weekly team jog, the DualRun!

Passionate about energy, Jérôme believes strongly in the potential of solar power to be a standard in the world. Jérôme received his engineering degree from Ecole Centrale Paris, and after an internship at Bouygues UK, he travelled to India by himself, providing a huge source of inspiration to pursue an energy endeavor. He completed his technical experience with a Masters in Entrepreneurship from ESCP, and then created Solaire 2G with Laetitia Brottier. Jérôme now leads the DualSun team with a tireless vigor, and aspires to lead his team effectively and share his passion for energy and entrepreneurship.
After a double degree in engineering and entrepreneuriat at the Ecole Centrale Paris engineering school and a PhD in energetics at the Cachan Ecole Normal Supérieure University, Laetitia Brottier was at the origin of the DualSun hybrid concept and in 2010 co-founded the company to develop, industrialize and commercialize the technology. At the end of 2013, the DualSun was the first module to pass the PV-T IEC certifications. Today, as Head of Innovation and Research at DualSun, she is responsible for assuring that DualSun be a technological leader on the PV-T market.
Rémi received a degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a specialization in renewable energies in Sweden. Before joining DualSun in May 2010, Rémi worked in several engineering design offices as a project manager. At DualSun, Rémi is responsible for industrialization, production, quality control, and certification of the DualSun panel. Passionate about sports and travel, Rémi plays soccer and can be found regularly running or hiking in the hills around Marseille.
Alki is responsible for bringing DualSun’s brilliant energy to the market, first in France, and eventually internationally. Prior to DualSun, Alki worked at the IEA and AREVA. She holds a B.A. from MIT and an MBA from the College des Ingenieurs (CDI) in Paris. Alki is passionate about energy issues, and in her free time, you can find Alki writing in her energy blog Watt Now, working with a non-profit called EarthSpark International building energy systems in Haiti, playing her ukulele, or cooking exciting Greek food.
Lambert is leading DualSun’s international strategy.
He hails from the north of France bringing some fresh air to the DualSun team since June 2015. He holds a Masters degree in business and management, and has had various international experiences including significant time in Hong Kong.
As an avid fan of both sports and renewable energies, Lambert combines the two by using the green energy of the wind to occupy his weekends kitesurfing and sailboarding.
Gabriel has a degree from the Grenoble Management School where he spent his last year on an exchange program at the University of Mannheim in Germany. He has worked in a diverse range of professional environments: from Michael Page, recruiting agency in Brussels to the John Deere European headquarters in Germany and a small startup in Grenoble.
At DualSun, Gabriel is building on his past experiences to bring DualSun’s multiple solar innovations to the Swiss market.
In his free time, Gabriel likes to bike, run, ski in the Alps, or read peacefully on a hammock.
Nordine loves to travel, learn and “entreprendre”. After a engineering double degree from both ICAM in Lille, France and the Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal, Nordine majored in energy engineering with a focus on renewable energy. Multiple professional experiences at EDF, AREVA and DUNKSY Energy have brought Nordine to the four corners of the globe: Asia, Australia, Europe, Canada, and the US.
Nordine is a big fan of languages, speaking French, English, Ch’ti (the regional language of the north of France) and now Chinese. He loves to laugh and to make people laugh, to study world history, and to help others through humanitarian efforts.
How did Nordine arrive in Marseille after all that? Because Nordine envisions a smarter world and believes that we will arrive there with innovative companies like DualSun. He places humans at the service of society and renewable energy at the service of future generations: “together, we will write history”!
